All About Me

Hello! My name is Allison but most people call me Alli. I'm 23 years old and recently moved to Oklahoma after living in Alaska for the majority of my life. I love to travel, especially by myself, and plan to move abroad within the next year. As far as my studies go, I'm working toward an associates or arts while still deciding on a career path.

(This is my favorite painting by Vincent Van Gogh which I actually had the pleasure of seeing in person this summer!)

Growing up I loved anything that involved being creative. Painting is almost like therapy to me and is definitely my favorite hobby. A few years ago I worked in a gallery and got to see the business side of the art community in Fairbanks which was so cool! We worked with artists all across the state putting on shows at a local cafe. This summer I traveled around Europe and saw so many beautiful and famous works of art. Visiting the Louvre in Paris, France was one of the highlights of my trip.

  3. Hello Allison!
One of my bucket lists is to go to the Louvre museum in Paris and see the famous paintings in person. My best friend was there also last summer, and she loved it!

I also love to be creative, especially when I'm stressed. I knit and crochet. It is relaxing and keeps my mind active. Thank you for sharing these beautiful pictures!

  4. Hello Allison,
Your visit to the Louvre looks very exciting. I really enjoyed what you said about how you find art therapeutic. While I am not very gifted in painting or sketching, when I do pick up a paint brush I feel I am able to put my emotions down with out saying a word. I wish you the best in your goals to study abroad!

  6. Hello Alli,

I love painting too and just have a mountain of canvases it seems. I agree that painting can be therapeutic, I just love to zone out with a youtube video playing in the background as I create my art. I would love to learn more about the business side of art as well!
